Laura
Ingalls Wilder, Frontier Girl
This page was created for Laura's readers who wish to learn more
about Laura and her books. Here, you can find information about
Laura's "little houses" and her friends and family who were
made famous in her "Little House"® books. You can
listen to the songs played on Pa's fiddle, and see pictures of the
real Ingalls and Wilder families.
Dear
Laura Ask a question about Laura Ingalls Wilder.
For over half a century children have read the Little House books
written by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Children all over the world wrote
many letters to Laura before she died in 1957. In order to continue
this tradition, the Hoover Presidential Library's on-line resource,
retired teacher June Silliman from Mount Vernon, Iowa, will answer by
e-mail your questions about Laura, her family, and the Little House books.

A
Simple Pioneer Nine-Patch Quilt

To make this classroom nine-patch quilt, you will need magazines for
the "fabric" squares, scissors, glue, and a copy of the
nine-patch quilt block. Patterns available at the Herbert Hoover
Presidential Library.
